Dad`s Three Cheese Spicey Spread

Ingredients

  • RYVITA® Wholegrain Crackerbread
  • 150g Seriously Strong Chedder
  • 64g Gevrik Goats Cheese
  • 250g Golden Acre Quark Soft Cheese
  • One Larged Red / Green Chili
  • One Large Garlic Clove
  • One Half Large Onion
  • Sea Salt Flakes
  • Fresh Ground Black Pepper

Method

First Leave the Goats Cheese in the Fridge for a Few days to go Hard - Firm enough that you can Grate it or use a Hard Goats Cheese we Like the One above.

Then using a Microplane Grater or a Grater with small holes.Take the Goats Cheese and Grate it and then Put it to one side in a Dish.

Take the Seriously Strong Chedder or the Cheese of your Choice its up to you But this is my way and its really works Well,Either Using a Medium Microplane or Grater with large hole, Grate that Cheese or you can buy it already Grated its up to you !, and put that to one side in a Dish. Now take the Half Onion and Finely Dice - Chop it really fine and then put it into a Large Glass Bowl about 1ltr or 1.5ltr,

Take the Large Garlic Clove and Finely Dice - Chop that really well really Fine and add that to the Onion in the Glass Bowl.

Now wearing a Pair of Rubber Gloves and Take the Large Red or Green Chili leave the seed`s in if you are Brave,lol.and Finely Dice - Chop the Chili really Well and keep Chopping going over and over the Chili until its really fine the Last thing you Don`t want is a Large piece of Chili in your Mouth, lol.

Add that to the Onion and Garlic in the Glass Bowl and Combine those Ingredients together add the Sea Salt and the Fresh Ground Black Pepper and Mix again making sure you have combined the Chili and Garlic and Onion really well. Now Take the Grated Seriously Strong Chedder or the Chedder of your Choice, and the Grated Goats Cheese if you want to use more Goats Cheese than the Seriously Strong Chedder you can do that, But this is My Way and it works really well, and Combine that with the Onion and Chili and Garlic mix, and Combine those ingredients together Carefully Then add the Quark and combine all the Ingredients again just enough that the Quark is all combined not to Much just enough. to form a Thick Paste - Spread !. Now Put the Mixture in a Bowl and cover with Cling film and put in the Fridge for a few Hours until your ready to use it, I find its better if you leave it for a few Hours so all the ingredients combine together, or you can use it straight away, Once your are ready to use it put the Mixture into a Nice Serving Dish or use Individual Bowl`s for your Guests.Or use a Container with a Lid that is Airtight and it will keep in the Fridge for about 4 to 5 days if it last`s that Long.

As pictured above we have used it on Wholegrain Crackerbread But we Use all the Different Types of Cracker`s - Crispbreads - Thin`s etc, Its really Nice if you Put it under the Grill as well, We Hope you will try this and let me know what you thought.Enjoy. Hmmm yum.
