RYVITA® Recipe
Ingredients
- RYVITA® Fruit Crunch Crispbread
- Cornish Clotted Cream or double cream
- Strawberry Jam - not too runny - or fresh strawberries
- Blueberry Jam - not runny too runny - or fresh blueberries
- Icing sugar if using fresh fruit
Method
Spread agenerous layer of clotted cream (or stiffly whipped double cream) onto the crispbread. With a toothpick or wooden skewer mark out the template for the Union Flag as illustrated. Carefully spoon/dot/spread the strawaberry jam* or compote into the cross and diagonal 'arms' as illustrated Carefully spoon/dot/spread the blueberry jam** or compote into the triangular areas as ilustrated (Remember to leave a line of cream visible around the red and blue shapes for authenticity) Enjoy with a lovely cup of tea or a glass of champagne! ALTERNATIVELY *Crush quartered, hulled fresh strawberries with icing sugar to taste and use instead of the strawberry jam, ** Crush fresh blueberries with icing sugar to taste and use instead of blueberry jam
