Chicken Pepper Soup

This can be as hot as you dare, originally hailing from West Africa it's addictive and cures anything from colds to hangovers, healthy and delicious.

RYVITA® Recipe

Ingredients

  • RYVITA® Sweet Chilli Minis
  • 2 large chicken breasts (cut into large bite sized pieces)
  • 1 large onion halved and sliced
  • 2 carrotts sliced on the round
  • 2 waxy potatoes peeled and cut into chunks
  • a little vegetable oil for frying
  • 1-3 tspns crushed dried chillies
  • 1 -2 whole green chillies
  • 1 pint chicken stock
  • salt
  • 2 tspns tomato puree
  • 1/2 tspn curry powder

Method

Fry the onion and chicken breasts in the oil in a large pan for a few minutes until lightly coloured. Add all the other ingredients apart from the curry powder and simmer until the vegetables are done.(approx 20 mins) Add the curry powder and season with salt
