Ingredients
- RYVITA® Original Crackerbread
- whole chicken
- evaporated milk 15oz tin
- 1 large onion
- 1/4 pint water
- 1 tabsp cornflour
- seasoning to taste
Method
simmer whole chicken and diced onion in 1/4pint water until cooked thoroughly. remove chicken from carcass. put chicken back in pan with water and onion. add evaporated milk, and seasoning. mix cornflour to smooth paste with cold water. add cornflour to chicken and continue to cook until soup comes to the boil, simmer covered for 15mins. if too thick add a little more water. when served the soup can be sprinkled with almonds
